This work, by a Sevillian master from the late 17th century, offers interesting insights into the development of *la Destreza*—a period marked by ongoing evolution (the text cites Ettenhard and Lorenz de Rada as recognized authorities)—while still upholding many of the core principles of the classical *Destreza* as established by Pacheco. Furthermore, the text addresses other topics, such as how to contend with the *Añasquinos* (viewed as having strayed from orthodoxy) and the Italians, who were evidently formidable rivals. A basic edition featuring the original text with standardized spelling and punctuation. It does not include an introduction, commentary, or notes.
